Diablo Valley Post Acute is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. Position Responsibilities

As a valued member of our Environmental Services team, you will:

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and furnishings

  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility

  • Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain organized storage areas

  • Follow all infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures

  • Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and safety concerns promptly

  • Assist with linen distribution and laundry duties as needed

  • Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members

  • Complete special cleaning projects and additional housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, hospital, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and infection control practices is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform physical duties including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering quality work
