Job Description:
The DHS CBP Program Management Office Directorate (PMOD) serves as the Independent Test Authority (ITA) for CBP acquisition programs and requires comprehensive systems engineering and test and evaluation (T&E) support. SimIS seeks an Administrative Specialist to provide essential administrative support for all program activities, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with government requirements, and effective coordination between team members and government stakeholders. This role requires expertise in government contracting procedures, document management, and coordination of complex logistics including travel, meetings, and deliverable submissions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative support experience in government contracting environment
  • Experience with government contracting procedures and requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability background check

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Knowledge of document management and version control systems
  • Understanding of travel coordination and logistics management
  • Familiarity with government reporting requirements and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
