Job description

BRONCO TRUCKING, INC. is contracted by FedEx to deliver packages from the station in Columbus/ Midland GA.

We employ professional drivers with a customer service focus. Driver applicants should be reliable, self-motivated, and problem-solving individuals.

Company has strong focus on safety and accountability.

We are seeking motivated Delivery Drivers to provide regular delivery service in and around the Columbus region. Delivery Drivers will become familiar with operating a variety of delivery vehicles, which are sized to fit the routes they are assigned to. Ultimately, the goal is to deliver packages to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid Drivers License, pass a background check, and ability to pass a DOT physical is required. A CDL is not required. Drivers must be able to manage packages up to 150 pounds.

Prior delivery experience is valued, specifically package delivery (FedEx, Amazon, UPS, USPS, DHL). Driver pay is partially based on productivity, resulting in more productive drivers making more money. Additional incentives are paid based on service and seasonal volume.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customer locations.
  • Load/ arrange packages onto delivery trucks and ensure all packages are accounted for.
  • Employ technology, such as scanner and navigation, to provide proof of delivery.
  • Ensure vehicle is in good working condition to prevent accidents on the road.
  • Interact with fellow employees and customers in a professional manner.
