Duties * You will direct placement, removal, or re-positioning of missile containers and their components. * You will estimate weight and center of gravity of load to be moved. * You will plan weight distribution and load maneuvering. * You will install beam clamps, gin poles, gallows, frames and other supporting structures. * You will use jacks, pulley blocks, chain falls, rollers and similar equipment as necessary to move and position heavy items. * You will perform scheduled weight tests and preventive maintenance on slings, bands, strong backs, shackles, straps and other handling equipment as prescribed in Test Data Sheets.
