Job description

TDX – a joint-venture partnership between TI Verbatim Consulting (TIVC) and Dexis – is recruiting Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for an anticipated requirement with the United States Special Operation Command (USSOCOM) J3-International (J3-I) Division, which will provide support to the J3-I mission, accelerate collaboration and interoperability between international Special Operations partners to more effectively deter in competition, respond in crisis, and prevail in conflict. The International Engagement Support SME will provide SME support to the J3-I Support Cell for the planning, coordination and execution of all bi-lateral and multi-lateral key leader engagements. Additionally, the SME provides unique administrative support to assigned international personnel. This position is based in Tampa, Florida, is contingent upon contract award, and requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Responsibilities Prepare and review executive correspondence, including review with partner nation personnel, to ensure accuracy of content and correspondence is error free. Support the planning, coordination, and execution of multinational events and other executive-level conferences and symposia, including preparation of invitations and agendas. Capture notes and prepare read-outs for multinational events; coordinate and follow-up actions, as required. Conduct research and coordination as necessary to develop conference invitations, letters of congratulations, thank you notes and other executive correspondence for the Command Group. Maintain awareness of international engagements across the Command via monitoring of and inputs to information tools, such as J3-I and Command calendars, coordination with the Commanders Action Group (CAG), Engagement Tracker, Long Range Calendars, and the HQ Visit Tracker. Maintain a directory of international SOF key leaders and contacts: draft, conduct research, develop, manage, and update information regarding key leaders across the USSOCOM and international SOF enterprise to enable rapid and accurate exchange of information. Provide conference updates to internal and external meetings, to include updating calendars, meeting slides and other briefing materials. Track PN Foreign Visit Requests (FVR) and Headquarter Visit Requests (HQV) as necessary to support attendance of international personnel at conferences held at USSOCOM HQ. Provide SME support to the J3-I Support Cell for management and maintenance of the Annex A (Terms of Reference) and Annex B (Duty Descriptions) for international EXO and FLO positions in the HQ. Prepare packets for the Division leadership (bios, interview sheets, and corresponding annexes) to facilitate initial and exit interviews of assigned allied and partner personnel. Provide information and support to PN SOF personnel and their families; facilitate in-processing and on-boarding to enable PN SOF performance as a member of the USSOCOM staff. Manage and track all PN SOF efficiency reports and ensure timely submission of PN reports, awards and decorations. Support out-processing of departing PN SOF personnel in a timely manner, to include planning and coordination for departure awards and farewell ceremonies. Perform close-out and escort duties as part of the Division’s Security Procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in international relations, communications, or other social sciences. 5 years’ experience using marketing or communication skills, both written and oral, to include preparation of written products for senior leader (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level) Demonstrated executive writing skills. 1 year experience in a multinational environment. Experience can be military, academic, business, non-governmental organization, or with another agency of the US Government. Desired: Basic language proficiency (1/1; basic conversation/writing) in Romance or European language (i.e., French, Spanish, Italian, other). Experience as Event Planner for Executive Level conferences and engagements. Experience in use of social media analytic tools. Ability to organize complex, inter-governmental events for over 500 people. Current DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
