Job description

Archstone Behavioral Health is looking for experienced Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team. Full-time positions are currently available.

BHT's are responsible for the safety and well-being of the client population as well as observing, monitoring and reporting as necessary. An ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between the client and the clinical team to notify of any changes in behavior or physical or mental condition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate client needs and behaviors to immediate supervisor and clinical team as necessary.

  • Conduct room and bag searches of clients both upon admission and at random.

  • Assist in the client intake process through transportation coordination, community orientation and appropriate intake paperwork.

  • Address problems in the client community through verbal, de-escalation techniques.

  • Oversee community cleanliness and enforce program rules and expectations.

  • Maintain professional boundaries with clients and staff at all times.

  • Maintain both client rights and client confidentiality at all times.

  • Active driver's license with clean driving record.

  • Ability to pass background checks, driver's license checks and drug screens.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • CPR Training preferred
