Meet the team:

As a vital contributor, you will play an essential role in enhancing and improving the automation processes that operate across various functions at Dexcom. By joining the Device Compatibility Team, you will have a direct impact on delivering devices to our customers. Our team collaborates with Product Management, R&D Systems and Commercial Product to ensure the quality of our Product. You will be involved in integrating automation and AI into our formal testing and research processes.

Where you come in:

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in software development, experience developing using one or more Object-Oriented programming languages (e.g. Python, Java), and a comprehensive understanding of common data structures.

  • You will build tools configure and control Dexcom devices and Apps, parse logs, and analyze failures.

  • You will develop tools and APIs to run automation, send notifications, generate documentation, generate/process events, automate Jira workflows, etc.

  • You will automate end-to-end testing on physical devices (iOS/Android) to validate product features.

  • You will evangelize available automation platforms, drive towards scalable automation development.

  • You will build integrations between tools like Jira, Testrail, Slack, Github, Datadog etc. to automate workflows and data transfers between systems.

  • You will work with the team on identifying improvement areas and generate/tracking ROI metrics from automation/development.

  • You will do continuous learning, build cool stuff and grow!

What makes you successful:

  • You have hands-on experience developing applications and libs in Python or Java, using/building RestAPIs, interfacing with embedded devices, automating mobile and embedded devices.

  • You have good experience working with tools like Jira, Testrail, GitHub, Docker, databases, AWS/GCP services, etc.

  • You have experience in Building and managing automated test suites that can be used by other teams in CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo etc.) and QA for end-to-end system testing.

  • You have experience using/working with cloud solutions (AWS or GCP) for compute, storage, authentication, messaging services, etc.

  • You have experience manipulating data in various formats like JSON, XML, Text, CSV, Excel etc. and using tools like Splunk, Datadog etc. for data analysis.

  • You have experience working with remote teams.
