As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you'll be at the heart of protecting our cloud environment, applications, and development pipelines. You'll design and implement modern security solutions across Azure, partner closely with developers to embed security into everything we build, and play a key role in strengthening our overall cybersecurity posture. If you enjoy solving complex problems, influencing secure design, and staying ahead of evolving threats-this is your seat at the table.

*This is an onsite position working a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in the office) at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky.

What's On Your Plate

  • Design and manage security controls across Azure (IAM, networking, containers, logging, monitoring, workload protection)

  • Embed security into the SDLC (secure coding, code reviews, automated testing, dependency scanning)

  • Lead threat modeling efforts and recommend risk-reducing solutions

  • Implement application and API security tools (WAF, API gateways, secrets management)

  • Support secure architectures across microservices, containers, serverless, and PaaS

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud and CI/CD pipelines

  • Monitor security events (SIEM, CSPM, CWPP) and respond to incidents

  • Strengthen automated security within CI/CD and cloud platforms

  • Develop security policies, standards, and cloud reference architectures

  • Partner with DevOps, engineering, and product teams to build secure solutions from the ground up

  • Mentor team members and stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies


Your Recipe for Success

  • 7+ years in cloud security, application security, DevSecOps, or similar

  • Strong Azure security experience (Azure AD, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, NSGs, App Gateway)

  • Solid understanding of SDLC, OWASP Top 10, and security testing tools (SAST/DAST/IAST)

  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

  • Knowledge of container/Kubernetes security and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)

  • Skilled in threat modeling, assessments, and log analysis

  • Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)

Bonus Points For:

  • CSPM tools, WAF/API security, SIEM platforms, serverless security, and ITSM tools like ServiceNow
