Job Description
The primary objective of the Sr. Project Leader is to ensure the successful delivery of work, create transparency and facilitate consensus among stakeholders, maintain standard workflow processes as well as identify, document, and train stakeholders in new or improved workflow processes. Workfront and Azure DevOps, a third party, online workflow management tools, are the principal tools used for organizing and executing workflows. Project Leaders duties include work management platform project administration, project onboarding and closure, sprint project management, reporting, issue management, process improvement, documentation, and coordination. Project Leaders may work daily with various stakeholders, including our customer service PM teams, roughly 12 distinct teams within Engineering, product, strategy and innovation teams, production facility team members, accounting, and others. Excellent understanding of standard project management practices is required for most projects including management of project plans, quoting, resources availability, project scheduling, prioritization, communicating status updates, and change management. Beyond standard project management skills, the Sr. Project Leader position will require an evolving understanding of client business rules and technical processes unique to Vestcom.
This position is a hybrid role if employee sits within 40 miles from a Vestcom facility. Otherwise, this role is remote.
Qualifications
  • Project Administration: Uses work management platforms to manage the project and tasks within the project to show burndown, resource utilization, project progress and documentation.
  • Project Onboarding and Closure: Drives project onboarding and closure including the following processes: business and product requirement reviews, work item management and development, quoting, scheduling, resource management, and closure.
  • Sprint Project Management & Issue Management: Manages the successful delivery of project portfolios for clients including publishing project schedules, maintaining project plans, facilitating agile ceremonies, and supporting the Helpdesk issue management process in Workfront.
  • Reporting & IT Process Improvement: Creates, monitors, and trains users on work management platform reports that drive processes, while championing Agile methodology values to identify workflow inefficiencies and train stakeholders in new workflows.
  • Stakeholder Management & Additional Duties: Promote collaboration and clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including key business partners, and execute other duties as assigned by management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Communications, or related field; 5+ years of related Information Technology project management experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • PMI Project Management Professional ("PMP") or Certified Scrum Master certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Workfront or Microsoft Project for project tracking and resource scheduling; AzureDevOps and Workfront experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively inform/update internal and external stakeholders regularly on status and immediately on any issues.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, teamwork skills to work with diverse teams, and ability to prioritize work requests from multiple requestors with limited resource availability.

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $76,800 - $113,568 / year.
