Job description

Meta's Infrastructure organization builds and operates the systems that power everything we do. Within Infrastructure, the Network, Infrastructure Security, and Supply Planning and Capacity Ecosystems organizations are critical to ensuring our global infrastructure is connected, secure, and capacity is delivered while efficiently managed.As a Business Operations professional supporting these three organizations at Meta, you will work closely with leaders to help them grow, scale, and run the business effectively. You will support strategic initiatives ranging from business operations and planning, establishing objectives and key results, business operations reviews, to driving process improvements that will enable our teams to execute and innovate at speed. A successful candidate will be highly organized, experienced in project management, and able to shift seamlessly between strategic counsel and smaller daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be a team player with experience communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization who is comfortable prioritizing competing demands and adapting to shifting business needs.
Business Operations, Infrastructure Responsibilities:
  • Support operational excellence in the organization by identifying and executing processes that create efficiency, remove obstacles and improve operational metrics, applying Lean methodologies as needed
  • Support strategic planning processes, establishing annual objectives, key results and multi-year fiscal and resource plans
  • Support initiatives to optimize the organization while it scales, to manage its health and enhance its culture
  • Develop and manage communication including business updates for internal and external engagements
  • Support relationships with cross-functional partners, understanding their needs, and ensuring our mechanisms and business processes drive higher levels of partnership and collaboration
  • Support special projects focused on site or organizational initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to establish and execute new processes as needed by the business
  • Support the closing of open headcount through partnership with the recruiting team and regular communication with hiring managers

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience with strategic and operational initiatives
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google Suite, advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience with problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects with internal staff and external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Experience defining and executing plans in environments with evolving priorities and incomplete information (e.g., scoping projects, identifying dependencies, and adapting plans based on new data)
  • Experience applying quantitative and analytical methods to solve business problems (e.g., financial modeling, data analysis, scenario planning)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with dashboards and pulling data queries from internal systems (e.g., SQL, Hive, etc.)
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in business, finance, analytics, or engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • MBA
  • Infrastructure experience in an engineering, financial, project management, or operational capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
