A Systems Operations Engineer is responsible for operational aspects of CEFCU's Data Center infrastructure to help enhance the Member Experience. Provides technical support escalation from desktop and Telecom support staff.
Provides the highest quality member experience, for both internal and external members.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - WFH
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4-6 years of combined experience in desktop engineering and/or systems operations, with a strong foundation in managing enterprise environments and supporting production infrastructure. Leverages prior advanced experience to administer systems, manage endpoint ecosystems at scale, and contribute to server and cloud-based operations.
• Experienced in system monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting across distributed environments to ensure high availability and performance. Demonstrates the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues, streamline operational processes, and support infrastructure stability and optimization in fast-paced environments.
• Operational knowledge of:
Network Security Event Management
TCP/IP protocol
LAN/WAN technologies
Windows Active Directory Environment; System Administration
VMWare vSphere
Current Windows Desktop
Experience with troubleshooting hardware/software in a network environment.
Windows Server - All current versions, Linux experience
Microsoft SQL System Administration
Microsoft M365/Entra
• Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to correspond, collaborate, and communicate with all levels of staff within and outside of IT (i.e., peers, managers, and executives) and external to the organization.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Must be a self-starter and effective working independently and equally comfortable working in a team environment.
• Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills and pay attention to detail.
• Must be dependable and flexible and provide excellent customer service.

Summary Pay Range
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $38.80 - $45.59.
The pay range listed represents the anticipated starting range for a successful candidate. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
