We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be help improve the reliability, cost efficiency and operational efficiency of our hosted infrastructure and internally developed applications that power the business.

Your impact:

  • Support and improve our CI/CD pipeline tools to support the development teams working on a variety of software products.
  • Create relationships with the development teams to progress towards common goals.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Infrastructure as code, develop tools to deploy infrastructure for development environments.
  • Containerize applications to improve deployments and application resilience.
  • Work closely with development and quality assurance teams to streamline and improve workflows.
  • Ensure infrastructure can scale dynamically and recover from disaster scenarios.
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Good understanding of security benchmarking
  • Managing development resources and access controls
  • Occasional after-hours work
  • Internal tooling development to improve operational efficiency and self-service solutions

About you:

  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Security or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in a DevOps position
  • 3 years' experience in Software Engineering.
  • 2 years' experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience running Kubernetes / EKS in production environments.
  • Competent at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, or GOLang. GOLang is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, Github Actions and GitLab
  • Professional experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet and Chef.
  • Strong knowledge with an orchestrator tool such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
  • GIT
  • Experience with monitoring tools, APM, Logging and Infrastructure.
  • Brief Experience working with MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Redshift.
