  • Hands-on at implementing and building a cloud environment in Amazon Web Services.
  • 5+ years' experience automating provisioning of AWS services to support Big Data clusters
  • Must have strong experience developing playbooks using Ansible and Ansible Tower, Artifactory repos, GitHub
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and large-scale computing environments (Hadoop, Kafka, NiFi)
  • Setting up, configuring, and deploying containers in the cloud, preferably GCS and/or AWS
  • Experience defining and implementing configuration management
  • Familiarity with enterprise security framework and active directory integration in the Cloud
  • Deploying containerized applications that use Angular/Node.JS/PostgreSQL (Preference will be given to candidates that have this experience)
  • Google Cloud Services and AWS (must have deep understanding of how containerized applications are deployed and in these cloud services)
  • Exposure to some of the following AWS services and features: VPC networking, RDS, Lambda, CodeArtifact, MSK, SAM.
  • Exposure to a CI/CD system such as Gitlab Pipelines, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Working knowledge of using git or tools that leverage git for source code management.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn and grow as an engineer.
  • Experience working within a team and within Agile workflows.
  • Basic Linux knowledge is a plus.
  • Basic containerization knowledge is a plus.
  • Basic RDBMS knowledge is a plus.
