Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for HP Poly serves as a dedicated growth leader responsible for driving HP Poly hardware, software, and service sales across NWN's customer base. Acting as the bridge between HP Poly and NWN, this role is accountable for developing joint go-to-market strategies, accelerating sales enablement, and ensuring mutual success in delivering world-class Visual Collaboration, Managed Devices, and Unified Communications solutions.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the IT/AV ecosystem, and can translate vendor strategy into field execution to achieve aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute HP Poly sales strategy across NWN's national account base, aligned with revenue goals, margin targets, and partner incentives.
  • Certifications: Work with Vendor Management and help manage certifications and partner program requirements
  • Partner Strategy: Co-develop and execute the HP Poly business plan with NWN's leadership, targeting YoY revenue and margin growth.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip NWN sales and solution engineers with HP Poly training, playbooks, and competitive positioning for room systems, headsets, voice, and Teams-certified devices.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Own visibility into HP Poly opportunity pipeline, reporting on deal progression, forecast accuracy, and incentive alignment.
  • MDF & Incentive Management: Work with Marketing on the MDF allocation, rebate optimization, and joint marketing campaigns to drive awareness and conversion.
  • Field Collaboration: Conduct regular business reviews with NWN and HP Poly leadership to align priorities and share performance metrics.
  • Customer Engagement: Participate in strategic customer presentations, events, and proof-of-concept activities to reinforce HP Poly's value proposition.
  • Market Insight: Monitor competitive landscape and identify new solution opportunities aligned to NWN's service offerings (Visual Collaboration, UCaaS, and Device-as-a-Service).
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Successful track record in Unified Communications/Videoconferencing /Audio Visual & Device sales and channel management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or channel management
  • Knowledge of HP Poly products and services
  • Excellent poise and presentation skills
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Creativity and independent thinking
  • Proven proficiency working in a Microsoft environment. Including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience using Salesforce a plus
  • College degree preferred
