Position Overview: Assistant Engineer (EIT)

Location: Visalia, CA or Remote Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the planning and design of innovative traffic and active transportation solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive studies, reports, and detailed analyses that drive project success.
  • Contribute to the creation of precise design drawings, cost estimates, and other essential project deliverables.
  • Engage in traffic impact studies and Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) analysis to inform project decisions.
  • Support the development of design plans and specifications for diverse infrastructure projects aligned with complete street principles.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Planning.
  • Professional Development: Pursuing or possess an Engineering In Training (EIT) certification.
  • Experience: 1+ years in civil, transportation, environmental, land development or water engineering within a consulting environment or public sector (Preferred Not Required)
