Job description

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a growing IT team at a local bank in Hawaii. This role will lead the design, development, and enhancement of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions to support enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in ServiceNow, a deep understanding of ITIL processes, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, tight-knit team environment while contributing to the evolution of critical IT platforms. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and customization of ServiceNow ITSM solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and workflows
  • Configure and enhance core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and performance challenges
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise applications and systems
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting, and performance analytics (indicators, scorecards, widgets, etc.)
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and stand-ups
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous service improvement
  • Contribute to platform roadmap planning and optimization strategies
  • Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases, new features, and industry best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience developing on ITSM platforms
  • Experience delivering IT application solutions in a technology environment
  • Hands-on experience customizing ServiceNow or similar platforms
  • Experience working with core ServiceNow applications (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog)
  • Experience working in Agile environments and participating in sprint planning
  • Familiarity with Performance Analytics (dashboards, KPIs, indicators, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of ITIL concepts and best practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator is a plus
  • Certified ServiceNow Application Developer is a plus
