We are looking for a Senior Developer Platform Engineer to join our Onsite Digital Solutions team. In this role, you will take ownership of our monitoring and automation platform, driving innovation and ensuring operational excellence. You will take part in shaping our monitoring strategy, building scalable digital solutions, and mentor colleagues as we advance our automation and observability capabilities.

As our primary task is to ensure that we can maintain a high level of insight to the health state of our production lines through monitoring, we will find it beneficial if you have prior experience with IT environment of production and warehouse facilities, be it infrastructure or applications. It would also be an advantage if you have a good technical understanding of infrastructure, as it always imposes constraints on what and how we monitor.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive the design, configuration, and optimization of our monitoring and automation platform.
  • Define and implement best practices for observability, monitoring, and alerting for our users.
  • Develop advanced automation workflows and tools to reduce manual effort and increase reliability for both our users and us.
  • Architect and code missing capabilities for our platform, including integrations with hardware and systems being monitored, business platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers, operations, and product teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions.
  • Act as a technical expert and advisor, guiding colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the organization.
  • Play a key role in shaping the roadmap for monitoring, automation, and digital services.
Qualifications
  • Development background with proficiency in at least couple of programming languages (i.e.: C#, JavaScript, Go, Python, Java, or similar).
  • Acquaintance with Azure DevOps, ability to create and leverage its pipelines and associated infrastructure.
  • Experience building and working with containerized workloads.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Power Automate or similar).
  • Good knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure and associated protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and guide others.
  • Familiarity with working in an agile team.
Preferred skills
  • Experience with Data analysis and reporting (Power BI)
  • Experience contributing to architecture or solution design in cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Zabbix would be good but not a must.
