Job Description:

As an Semiconductor Modeling Test & Data Analysis Engineer, you will play a key role in characterizing semiconductor technologies and supporting the extraction and validation of semiconductor device models.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in developing and executing test plans for semiconductor device characterization and modeling.
  • Operate laboratory equipment (such as parameter analyzers, oscilloscopes, capacitance meters, manual and automated probe stations) to perform device testing and measurements.
  • Collect, organize, evaluate data from device characterization testing.
  • Use basic statistical methods and data visualization tools to analyze test results and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Compare measured data with simulation/model results and document findings.
  • Write scripts (Python/SciPy, VB, Excel/VBA, JMP,etc ) to automate data collection and analysis tasks, with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Prepare clear documentation of test procedures, data analysis steps, and results.
  • Collaborate with modeling, design, and process engineering teams to support ongoing projects.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BS,MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience.
  • Academic or industry experience with semiconductor device test or other laboratory electrical measurements (coursework or projects considered).
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuit theory, semiconductor device physics and modeling concepts.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization (e.g., using Excel, Python/SciPy, or JMP).
  • Willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and programming languages as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
