Job description

We are seeking a Janitorial Team Leader to join our team! The Supervisor performs custodial duties with developmentally disabled adults at assigned contracts.

Jobsites:

Fort Irwin Military Base - 7PM-2AM plus driving time (paid if scheduled), Monday-Friday, mandatory occasional weekends.

​Responsibilities:

The Role of a Janitorial Team Lead is perhaps the most critical aspect of successful Supported Employment. Besides providing intensive task related training at various job sites, the Janitorial Lead [Job Coach] is the key to communication and training with clients and liaison to the Case Manager.

  • The job coach acts as a trainer to assist developmentally disable adults in learning new skills, enhancing existing skills, and demonstrating good work ethics and teamwork
  • Transport developmentally disable adults to & from worksite
  • Train and assist assigned developmentally disabled adults in the day-to-day functions of custodial work
  • Assist developmentally disabled adults in reaching performance goals
  • Maintain records of attendance and performance tracking
  • strong communication with management on developmentally disabled adults overall performance and behavior
  • Maintain and safeguard all developmentally disabled adults issues and behaviors from non-management, or co-workers
  • Comprehensive understanding of Positive Intervention with Clients
  • Follow job tasks and cleaning standards at each job site and/or building

Qualifications:

  • Experience in driving large capacity vans, janitorial or other related fields
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Clean driving record (DMV Online Driving record printout)
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Clearance
  • OIG Fraud Clearance
  • Drug & Marijuana Free Facility
