Job description

Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician – New Hyde Park, NY

Northwell Health is seeking a part‑time or full‑time Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician to join the Division of Developmental‑Behavioral Pediatrics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, a 202‑bed tertiary care, free‑standing pediatric facility located on the New York City / Long Island border.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and provide follow‑up for children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral conditions, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sleep and feeding disorders, and speech/language/learning disorders.
  • Participate in resident and fellowship training.
  • Engage in research opportunities as per individual commitment.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board Eligible/Certified in Developmental‑Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
  • Experience with a broad range of developmental disorders, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral issues, developmental delays, genetic abnormalities such as Down syndrome, sleep and feeding disorders, and speech/language/learning disorders.
