A successful applicant for the Sr. Technical/Business Development Writer will have:

  • Have at least eight years of experience in a technical writing/editing and/or business development position.
  • Become a key member of the Business Development Operations center, leading teams on the generation Federal Government market surveys, white papers, and proposals from bid decision through award.
  • Excel at performing production edits and proofreading (including self-editing); be receptive to constructive feedback on writing, editing, and a variety of technical topics; and have impeccable attention to detail.
  • Integrate into various teams to collaborate on software and engineering development projects to produce and maintain full suites of documentation products, including user guides, quick-start guides, training materials, hardware supplements, software and maintenance manuals, and test plan and procedure documentation.
  • Work on technical briefings, technical reports, manuals, and marketing materials for high-performance electronic hardware.
  • Operate in an interrupt-driven environment, manage concurrent tasks, wear many hats, and perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining calendars and tracking sheets.

Where is the position located?

This position can be located in our Centennial, CO; Chantilly, VA or Tucson, AZ Headquarters. This role requires onsite attendance without any remote work.

*The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
