What You'll Do

As our Development Grant Writing Specialist, you'll play a vital role in securing funding that helps Dallas Habitat expand affordable housing opportunities throughout North Texas.

You'll:

  • Develop strategy, research, and identify new grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other funding partners.
  • Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funding requests.
  • Manage the entire grant lifecycle—from prospect research and proposal development through reporting and stewardship.
  • Collaborate with program leaders, finance, and development staff to gather data, budgets, and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain grant calendars and ensure timely submissions and reporting.
  • Track grants and funding activity within Salesforce.
  • Help communicate the incredible impact Dallas Habitat has on families and communities.
