Software Tester (.NET Applications) - QAS2
Duties/Responsibilities
Designs andperforms system analysis, recommends application solutions, tests and correctsprograms and assists IT staff with documentation;
Assists insupporting user acceptance testing;
Performssoftware implementation tasks, including source control and deploymentactivities;
Assists withdevelopment, implementation and monitoring IT quality assurance standards andtesting;
Assists in thedevelopment and documentation of appropriatestandards and criteriafor acceptable programming and systems development lifecycleactivities;
Develops softwaretesting and automation procedures and performs analysis and design;
Reads, writes,extracts and/or reports from compounded files;
Works withbusiness personnel to identify and document system software requirements;
Definesproblems and develops potential solutions;
Performs post-productionsupport for business applications which may include routine maintenance,enhancements and the need to perform research to aid in troubleshootingsoftware production errors;
Assists ITstaff in identifying alternate coursesof action, the review and evaluation of software development methodologies andcompleting software security scans and reporting on vulnerabilities;
Assist IT staffin performance testing and benchmarking of software application response times,analysis and reporting on performance measures.

Answers questionson technical topics to assist other technical staff in software development;

Gathers,interprets and applies information from a variety of sources to aid in softwaredevelopment duties, activities and events;

Understandingand experience in the use of Azure Dev Ops for documentation and iterativedevelopment collaboration, task management and other functions related tosystem testing and reporting.
Basicunderstanding of Agile, Iterative and Traditional Software development (SDLC) practices,standards as it relates to testing activities.
