River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.

Program Overview:
River Edge is seeking a qualified Licensed Therapist to join the Child and Adolescent Unit. This role involves providing therapeutic services and supporting the mental health needs of children and adolescents.

FLSA Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team.
  • Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related field.
  • Must have Associate License or Fully Licensed in either - LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
  • Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, or a crisis stabilization setting.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise with the chronically mentally ill population.
  • All applicants must pass an intensive background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Demonstrate expertise and knowledge in mental health and substance abuse services and community resources.
