Job description

Overview: Morcon Specialty, a TRG company, is seeking a driven and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team in industrial distribution. Specializing in hydraulic and industrial hoses, gaskets, conveyor belts, and accessories, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Development Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management Provide expert product recommendations and solutions to meet customer needs in industries such as manufacturing, construction, and material handling.
  • Technical Expertise Develop a strong understanding of hydraulic and industrial hose systems, gaskets, conveyor belts, and related accessories to assist customers with product selection.
  • OnSite Visits & Consultations Conduct regular field visits to assess customer requirements, provide product demonstrations, and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Quoting & Negotiation Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Market Research Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaboration Work closely with inside sales, operations, and suppliers to ensure highquality service and timely deliveries.
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience in outside sales, industrial distribution, or a related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic hoses, industrial hoses, gaskets, conveyor belts, and accessories (a plus).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
