Property Accountant
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Bonus
Flexibility may be available for candidates with additional relevant experience.
Hybrid Schedule: 4 Days In Office / 1 Day Remote

Our client, a highly respected commercial real estate company, is seeking a Property Accountant to join its growing team. Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end close activities for an assigned property portfolio
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, tenant billings, and account reconciliations
  • Analyze financial results and budget variances
  • Review lease agreements and ensure accurate tenant billing
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and CAM reconciliations
  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, and other special projects
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • CPA or active CPA candidate
  • Public accounting experience, particularly from a local or regional firm
  • Commercial real estate or property accounting experience
  • Experience with Yardi or similar accounting software
