This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our manufacturing efficiency by developing and maintaining production plans that ensure timely product delivery while minimizing waste and downtime. You will collaborate across multiple departments to align production schedules with inventory availability, labor resources, and customer demand. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in our operational success within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, oversee, and manage complex production schedules for specialized products, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional planning meetings to ensure alignment between production, procurement, and inventory management teams.
  • Analyze long-term production data and forecasts to anticipate future demand, identifying risks and opportunities for capacity planning.
  • Act as the key liaison between production, procurement, logistics, and customer service to manage production priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts.

  • Evaluate resource needs, labor capacity, and material availability for long-term production plans, and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and present production performance reports to senior management, highlighting trends, bottlenecks, and actionable insights for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with the operations and engineering teams to support new product introductions and special projects, ensuring that production plans are adapted to accommodate changes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality control policies within the production planning process.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field or relevant experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related function in a manufacturing production environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex production data and develop strategic plans.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP/MRP systems, with preference for Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
