Job description

This position will support the development of a basic understanding of healthcare delivery through the lens of operations systems and functions. This position is a general orientation to healthcare operations and used as an experience to expose interns to career options and education pathways in healthcare. The internโ€™s learning experience will utilize observation, frequent collaboration with leaders and staff in healthcare operations, and participating in projects or completion of assigned work. Assigned topics and level of complexity will be determined based on the internโ€™s interest and skills.

Operations leadership will identify at least one primary project for the internโ€™s participation while supporting opportunities that align with the internโ€™s healthcare learning goals. The COO may delegate the reporting structure to other leaders based on project selection.

Event Participation

  • Participate in unique events such as Board of Director visits to clinics and Patient Advisory council meetings.
  • Participate with Continuous Improvement or Strategic projects as available or applicable.

Key Project Assignment
