Due to continued growth, we are seeking a People Operations Associate to support team members throughout the full lifecycle at Charles IT. This role will focus on onboarding and offboarding, team member support, and HR administration, while contributing to team member engagement and development initiatives across the organization. 

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, handbook, and benefits 
  • Support and promote a positive employee experience through advocacy and relationship building 
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes 
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters, build project setups, and support onboarding logistics 
  • Support the new hire experience, including structured check-ins and satisfaction tracking 
  • Administer HR systems (Paylocity), including audits, documentation management, and compensation updates 
  • Support benefits administration, including 401(k), open enrollment and employee perks programs 
  • Conduct employee check-ins to support performance, development, and career progression 
  • Assist with employee development initiatives, including Personal Progression Sessions and engagement surveys 
  • Coordinate quarterly performance check-ins, including scheduling, preparation, documentation, and follow-up 
  • Review timesheets for accuracy and track certification progress 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience 
  • One to Two years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations  
  • Professional HR certification preferred 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • High level of organization and attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality 
  • Experience with HRIS platforms 
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
