About the Role:
Join the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center Inc. as a Development I Associate, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission to alleviate hunger and provide essential services to our community. This position is perfect for a passionate individual eager to make a difference in the lives of those in need while growing their skills in fundraising and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and campaigns.
  • Support donor relations by maintaining accurate records and communication.
  • Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.
  • Help organize and coordinate community outreach events and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to share fundraising progress with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to create engaging marketing materials.
  • Monitor and analyze fundraising trends to recommend improvements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, or administrative support. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for community service and commitment to our mission.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
