Job Summary
The Change and Communications Manager drives employee engagement, adoption, and awareness across Block's workplace programs and transitions. This role develops and executes communications strategies that connect Block employees to their workplace, support organizational change initiatives, and amplify the JLL-Block partnership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an integrated change management and communications strategy aligned to Block's workplace transformation roadmap
  • Create compelling, brand-aligned content across channels for a global employee audience
  • Partner with Experience, Facilities, and Technology teams to communicate service changes, space updates, and program launches
  • Build and maintain a communications calendar; manage cadence and consistency of employee and client facing messaging
  • Support leadership communications, including town halls, all-hands content, and executive briefings related to workplace initiatives
  • Measure communication effectiveness and refine approach based on engagement data
  • Serve as subject matter expert on change management methodology

Executive & Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop communication strategies for global initiatives and organizational change.
  • Advise leaders on messaging, communication timing, and employee engagement best practices.

Change Management
  • Develop change impact assessments, communication plans, stakeholder analyses, and readiness strategies for major workplace initiatives.
  • Identify organizational risks and recommend communication strategies to improve adoption and minimize disruption.

Governance & Standards
  • Establish communication standards, templates, and governance to ensure consistency across regions.
  • Maintain brand and tone consistency across all employee-facing communications.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Workplace Experience, Facilities, IT, HR, Sourcing, Events, Finance and Security to align communications across business initiatives.
  • Coordinate communications across multiple global time zones and regional teams.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with employee engagement platforms (Slack, Google Workspace, SharePoint, Notion, Microsoft/TEAMs, etc.)

  • Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, change management, or corporate communications
  • Proven track record executing change programs in a corporate real estate or workplace environment preferred
  • Strong writing and content development skills across multiple formats and audiences
  • Experience with change management frameworks strongly preferred
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Organizational Development, or related field

Estimated compensation for this position:
100,000.00 - 120,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
