RTX is looking for a talented Associate Director, Enterprise HR Communications. The Associate Director, Enterprise HR Communications is responsible for leading, developing and executing strategic communications plans in support of Pratt & Whitney (P&W) and enterprise HR priorities.

This role serves as a key member of the Enterprise HR Communications team and drives aligned, high-impact communications that support both business and enterprise goals.

This position requires strong employee and executive communications expertise, experience in change communications and awareness of HR initiatives. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in strategic planning, tactical execution and the ability to influence and partner at the highest levels of the organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead HR communications for P&W, including development, execution and measurement of an integrated communications plan aligned to functional, business and enterprise priorities. 

  • Lead executive communications for the P&W CHRO, serving as the Communications lead on the P&W HR Leadership Team.

  • Partner with the P&W Employee Communications team to ensure HR communications and priorities are reflected in the broader communications strategies and calendars.

  • Manage one direct report supporting both P&W and enterprise HR communications.

  • Partner across the Enterprise HR Communications team to align enterprise and P&W HR communications plans into a holistic strategy.

  • Lead planning, coordination and delivery of enterprise HR communications as part of a fully integrated enterprise HR Communications team.

  • Create and manage content for internal communications channels, such as intranet articles, newsletters, emails and presentations.

  • Measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, problem solve and adjust plans based on feedback and analytics.

  • Stay informed on enterprise HR initiatives and programs to anticipate communication needs and provide proactive counsel to stakeholders.


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience

  • Experience developing and executing employee communication strategies with measurable impact on business goals.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

  • Proven experience in executive and employee communications, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Strategic thinker skilled at translating complex concepts into clear, concise messaging.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Seek continuous improvement through metrics, feedback collection and evaluation/analytics.

  • Travel required: 10-25%

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
