Job description

We are looking for a Business Development Associate to lead our seller win-back strategy, focused on re-engaging and reactivating previously churned accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing relationships with former sellers, proactively diagnosing the root causes of their departure, and delivering tailored value propositions to restore their presence on the platform. The ideal candidate is a persuasive, phone-first communicator, capable of leveraging historical churn data and internal resources to turn past pain points into successful, long-term business partnerships.

Note: In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for quarterly performance-based commissions.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive Business Development initiatives through high-volume, outbound phone outreach and strategic email campaigns to convert prospective leads into signed accounts.
  • Communicate and highlight membership options, account benefits, and platform advantages  
  • Create scalable outreach campaigns to target approved prospects
  • Provide clear feedback to management on how to improve pitch materials or sales blockers to ensure sales targets are met
  • Drive and maintain Sales satisfaction by providing excellent and timely service in all seller interactions
  • Support various sales operations projects to ensure we are growing our seller partnerships and bringing their unique inventory to our buyers 

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years account management experience, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner
  • Showcase the ability to influence and educate our Seller community
  • Strong time management and organization skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Experience with SalesForce and/or other CRM systems
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Docs
  • Proven track record of success in high-volume outbound calling and cold-calling environments.

Nice To Have:

  • Luxury goods experience a plus
  • Experience and/or understanding of a marketplace/e-commerce platform
