Job Description

Business Development & Customer Relations for American Juice Company; goal is to ensure that the highest standards in customer service are achieved and maintained. Responsible for maintaining effective customer service for all internal and external AJC customers. Work closely and supportively with the AJC Brokers to provide customers with the best service possible to generate long-term relationships and repeat orders.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • This position reports to the CEO
  • Effectively use SalesForce and QuickBooks software to generate and maintain business
  • Hourly position scheduled by employee on a flexible basis 5 days a week (Work Hour Log to document hours worked)
  • Serve as contact for all existing, new and potential customers
  • Nurture and expand relationships with key accounts to promote growth within the customer's network. Identify success criteria to grow in chains.
  • Facilitate and attend product presentations/samplings at customer's locations (goal to setup presentations)
  • Complete required paperwork and steps to be considered in product review process of key accounts and serve as contact for any questions
Qualifications

Key competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platform.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
  • Professional demeanor and able to connect and make a good impression on the first call.
  • Handle rejection well; move on to the next prospect quickly.
  • Have self-confidence.
  • Be a fast learner who can adapt to change.

Education, skills & experience:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Two or more years of telemarketing and or phone sales experience.
  • Experience using a CRM or sales software.
