We are growing and looking to expand our current Translations Division! We are looking for a Business Development Associate to assist us in getting to the next level.
The Translations Division of Ubiqus has an exciting opportunity for candidates with a strong desire to learn and become part of this industry. Our Business Development Associate is responsible for identifying prospective clients through various means and building the business through a strong sales approach.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and expand the Translations division market penetration by sourcing new and expanded sales prospects in existing and new industry verticals; create customized project proposals and cost estimates; negotiating and closing deals while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction
  • Promoting and educating prospective and current clients regarding the organizations capabilities, benefits and competitive offerings/services.
  • Develop and maintain a communications strategy for assigned and closed customers. Strategy may include some combination of phone calls, emails, onsite visits, or marketing type contacts on a defined and regular basis.
  • Identifying project requirements and scope, and estimating costs and time requirements for successful project completion. This may entail creating quotations and RFPs for clients directly or assisting Business Development or Production personnel in doing so.
  • During the RFP process, work closely with cross departmental employees to jointly define program parameters that meet client and organization needs and quarterback successful RFP submission
  • Take an active role in learning about each client's industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service
  • Liaise with production to ensure that all jobs are handled appropriately and with keen attention to detail, resulting in a perfect product
  • Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service

Qualifications
In order to succeed in this position you should have a Bachelors degree or equivalent, experience in the Translation/Localization market. Successful candidates have a thirst for knowledge with a pitch-in approach to their professional life.
