Job description

Corporate Development Associate

4 days a week in office

This is a high-activity, outbound-focused sales role on a tight-knit team that knows how to win together. As a corporate development associate on our real assets vertical, you'll be on the front lines — picking up the phone, building pipeline, and opening doors with the firms that run some of the most complex asset portfolios in the world.

Unlike many entry-level sales roles, you won't just hand off a lead and move on. You'll stay engaged throughout the full sales cycle — from the first cold call to close — giving you visibility into how deals are built and the skills to grow into a closing role.

If you're motivated by the grind of cold calling, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to build deep expertise in a specialized industry, this is the role for you.

What you'll do

  • Drive outbound prospecting through high-volume cold calling, email outreach, and strategic sequencing to generate qualified pipeline
  • Identify and engage decision-makers at real assets firms — including private equity real estate, infrastructure, and asset management firms
  • Stay involved across the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through discovery, follow-up, and close — working alongside account executives at every stage
  • Develop a deep understanding of each prospect's business so handoffs are seamless and context is never lost
  • Partner closely with account executives to move prospects through the pipeline and support deal momentum
  • Research target accounts using tools including HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and Sales Navigator to build informed outreach strategies
  • Log all activity and maintain clean records in HubSpot
  • Contribute to team call reviews, share what's working, and help refine scripts and messaging
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline targets

What we're looking for

  • Comfort with and commitment to cold calling — this is a phone-first role
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to hold a conversation with senior professionals
  • A competitive mindset paired with a team-first attitude — we win and lose together
  • Curiosity about the real assets industry and eagerness to develop vertical expertise
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales sequencing platforms is a plus
  • Prior SDR, BDR, or outbound sales experience preferred but not required

The product you'll be selling

Intapp Properties is purpose-built for real assets firms — giving investment and asset management teams a single platform to manage deals, relationships, and portfolios across the full asset lifecycle.

Properties began as Termsheet, a startup built from the ground up by people who understood the real assets industry. Intapp acquired Termsheet and brought it into the platform as Intapp Properties — combining the focus of a purpose-built product with the scale and security of an established enterprise platform. When you're talking to prospects, you're not selling a retrofitted tool. You're selling something designed for their world from day one.

Why this team

We're a small, close team that takes the work seriously and looks out for each other. You'll get real coaching, real feedback, and a clear path forward. The real assets vertical is one of the most dynamic and complex markets we serve — and the Intapp Properties opportunity is still in its early stages. There's a lot of ground left to cover.

What you will gain at Intapp:

At Intapp, you'll get the opportunity to bring your talents and intellectual curiosity to create better outcomes for our people and our clients. You'll be part of a growing public company, with a modern work environment that's connected yet flexible and where your professional growth and well-being are top priorities. We'll collaborate and grow together, supporting each other in a positive, open atmosphere that fosters creativity, innovation, and teamwork.

Here, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Expand Your Skills: Unlock your potential with professional development opportunities supported by a community of experienced professionals. We offer reimbursement for training and continuing education to help you stay ahead in your career.
  • Enjoy Where You Work: Thrive in our modern, open offices designed to inspire creativity and collaboration. Our complimentary lunches and fully stocked kitchens ensure you have everything you need to stay energized throughout the day.
  • Support What Matters Most: Our comprehensive wellness and flexible time off programs and our benefits are designed to care for you and your family. Our family-formation benefits and support during your family-building journey ensure you have the resources you need when it matters most. We believe in giving back and supporting our communities with paid volunteer time off and a donation matching program for the causes you care about.

Join us and be a part of a collaborative and welcoming culture where your contributions are valued, and your professional growth is a priority. Together, we are building a company of long-term value that we can all be proud of.

For New York City based roles, Base Pay Range is $50,000/yr - $55,000/yr. Your actual base salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, geographic location, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, variable compensation and equity may also be included.

Intapp provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and will make hiring decisions without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin or ancestry, age, disability, marital status, pregnancy, protected veteran status, protected genetic information, political affiliation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
