Job description

Devops Engineeer
Location: San Antonio,TX
Duration: 6 months
Position type: W2 contract

 
The candidate needs to be primarily a DevOps/Infrastructure engineer with expertise in IaaC (infra as code) using Terraform on AWS. In addition, if the candidate has worked on deploying streaming platforms such as Kafka and Flink that will be ideal or preferable.
 
Must-Have Skills:
Extensive experience (5+ years)  with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience deploying event streaming platforms (Kafka preferred) and processing frameworks (Flink, Spark Streaming)
Proven ability to automate tasks and implement CI/CD pipelines.
Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, CQRS, and event sourcing.
Experience in monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
 
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with event streaming platforms (Kafka preferred), stream processing frameworks (Flink, Spark Streaming), and data serialization formats (Avro, Protobuf, JSON).
Experience with cloud-based streaming services (AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs, GCP Pub/Sub).
Experience with application development frameworks (Spring Boot, Node.js, etc.).
Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Experience with various database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Real-time analytics and dashboarding experience.
