Job description

DevOps Engineer
ORLANDO, FL

Currently moving to a CICD model following the SAFe methodology. The initial phase is a 5 week assessment working with our DevOps and QMS practice to figure out what is in the environment and where the gaps are. Following is a 3 year engagement. The DevOps engineers will be part of a Systems team. The systems team will contain, DevOps, automation engineers, integration Testers, Performance testers, etc. This team will act as its own Scrum team of sorts where it has its own priorities, backlogs etc. They will work with the 14 individual Feature teams and prioritize automation and CICD work based on what they are delivering
Work Environment
Universal is a mixed environment. They are moving to SAFe which calls for individual Feature Teams (scrum teams) but they also have platform teams (mobile, TMT, ACP, etc.) as well. The Devops will be part of the Systems team which acts as a pseudo Shared Service prioritizing their own work.
