Role Overview: As a Developer Advocate at Canvas Medical, you will be the voice of the developer community and a bridge between external developers and our internal product teams. Your primary goal will be to champion the needs of developers integrating with Canvas Medical's API, provide technical guidance, and ensure our developer tools and documentation empower users to build impactful healthcare applications. This role is ideal for a technical communicator passionate about healthcare innovation and developer enablement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with the developer community through forums, social media, webinars, and meetups. Act as the primary point of contact for external developers, collecting feedback and sharing insights with internal teams.
  • Technical Advocacy: Create and maintain high-quality documentation, tutorials, sample code, and SDKs to support developers using Canvas Medical's API. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to enhance API usability based on developer feedback.
  • Content Creation: Write blog posts, produce videos, and deliver presentations showcasing best practices, new features, and real-world applications of Canvas Medical's API. Develop technical content for hackathons, developer conferences, and community events.
  • Support and Enablement: Provide direct support to developers, helping them troubleshoot issues and optimize their integrations. Conduct workshops, office hours, and training sessions to onboard developers to the Canvas Medical platform.
  • Evangelism: Represent Canvas Medical at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events as a technical expert and advocate. Share the vision of Canvas Medical and its impact on healthcare innovation.

Qualifications
