Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java API Developer with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade RESTful APIs and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development, API integration, and cloud-native application development. Prior experience in the Retail Banking domain is preferred. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance banking solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and Java-based microservices using modern frameworks.

Build scalable and high-performance backend applications by following secure coding standards and API best practices.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Integrate applications with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, and messaging technologies.

Participate in system design, code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure application reliability through automated testing and monitoring.
