Job description

The Salesforce Administrator/Developer owns the day-to-day configuration, automation, and support of the Salesforce platform. This role blends hands-on administration (security model, declarative automation, data quality, user support) with intermediate development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, integration troubleshooting) to keep Salesforce reliable and aligned to business process. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a Flow with sales leadership and writing an Apex trigger to enforce it at scale.
Responsibilities
  • Owns Salesforce administration: user setup, security model (Profiles, Permission Sets/Groups, sharing rules, field-level security), page layouts, record types, and Lightning App Builder configuration.
  • Develops Apex (classes, triggers, test classes) and Lightning Web Components to extend Salesforce beyond what declarative tools can support, following best practices.
  • Builds and maintains Flow-based automation (Screen Flows, record-triggered Flows).
  • Supports and troubleshoots existing integrations between Salesforce and other business systems (ERP, CPQ, middleware), escalating architecture-level changes as needed.
  • Collaborates with IT / Developers for other systems to integrate across the business.
  • Maintains, monitors and improves data quality (deduplication, validation rules, required fields).
  • Adheres to Salesforce best practices and, maintain documentation for all custom development.
  • Remains current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
  • Creates and executes user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.
  • Takes ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and codes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Min 3-5 years of combined Salesforce Administration and Development experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required; Platform App Builder and/or Platform Developer I strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, SOQL/SOSL, and the standard sales/service object model.
