Job Summary:

As a Product Designer 3 at DMG you have an opportunity to join a growing UX organization working to create the country's largest, most reliable network of maintenance professionals to provide uninterrupted peace of mind for our customers. You'll be able to shape the culture of DMG UX and lead design on our most important products. The DMG UX Team is a collaborative work environment focused on creating great products, pushing boundaries, and seeing products through the entire iterative lifecycle. We are an inclusive team that values open communication, empathy, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

  • Own your product from brainstorming concepts to launch.
  • Represent end-users in a product discovery leadership team. Organize user feedback into root problems, facilitate brainstorms, and help the team determine which ideas are worth further exploration.
  • Own interaction design. Have the technical prowess to produce interactive user prototypes, and the pragmatism to assess what level of fidelity is required for the task at hand, from driving a user study or simply communicating your design to a developer. Work with developers to produce live data prototypes when necessary, and identify which metrics are critical to demonstrating the product's success.
  • Love UX. Deliver insights about our users to internal and external stakeholders.Share prototypes with leadership and customers and get everyone fired up about concepts. Take pride in your success and share your enthusiasm for UX with everyone around you.

What You Need:

  • You have at least 4 years of experience in product design.
  • Experience working in software including Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • You have a thorough understanding of product discovery and the design process.
  • You like to collaborate with both product managers and developers in a team setting.
  • You are an active collaborator. Because you are self-motivated and self-directing, you enjoy working with a small team of smart, energetic people like yourself. You are also inspirational and influential to all the teams around you.
  • Drive for continued education and research into UX trends, product strategy and technologies, and an inclusive, research-based approach to design.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
