Position Summary:

We're looking for a Project Manager to own the delivery of a technical program from planning through execution. This role is the connective tissue between the engineering team doing the work and the executive stakeholders who need to know it's on track. You'll report progress, manage cost and schedule, and keep deliverables moving without surprises.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly status reports to program stakeholders and leadership.
  • Build and present executive-level slide decks summarizing program status, risks, and next steps.
  • Manage project deliverables, tracking completion against contract milestones and deadlines.
  • Manage project costs and budgets, tracking spend against plan and flagging variances early.
  • Write and maintain clear technical documentation across the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional engineering and operations teams to keep deliverables on schedule.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to both technical teams and executive audiences.
  • Escalate roadblocks proactively and drive them to resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, engineering, or business field.
  • Proven experience managing projects in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong technical writing skills, comfortable producing status reports and formal documentation.
  • Track record of building and presenting executive-level materials.
  • Experience managing project budgets, cost tracking, and deliverable schedules.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or similar project management certification a plus.
