Position Summary
The Project Management position is open within the AGI Packaged Pump Systems division located in Lafayette, LA. AGI PPS designed, engineers, and builds process pump systems, vapor recovery, and compression systems for customers worldwide.
Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and executing all functions associated with the completion of an assigned project in order to process customer orders into a finished product.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Estimating Department as needed
• Maintain familiarity with purchase order and project specifications while comparing to the AGIPPS quotes, estimator quotes, and submitting to the appropriate personnel for review of terms and conditions of the PO.
• Coordinate a project kickoff meeting with client to review specs/drawings, outline QA/QC procedures, and review the schedule.
• Initiate the project by compiling/completing preliminary documentation, coordinating the appropriate departments to communicate necessary information internally in order to start the project.
• Submit drawings and documentation to the customer for review then discuss and execute revisions as needed.
• Initiate PO for components and materials after drawings/data sheets are accepted then verify the vendor delivery commitments in comparison to project schedules while expediting vendor orders as necessary.
• Begin the building process by initiating fabrication kickoff meeting to review scope of supply, compare fabrication/production schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
• Monitor progress of project by coordinating functional testing, ensuring the drafting department completes as built dimensional drawings, comparing the final BOM to supplied product, approving project data books and project billing/invoicing, and confirming shipping documentation is completed properly.
• Continually address additional paperwork related to the project and ensure appropriate documentation is in place throughout the duration of the project.

• Bachelor's degree
• Bachelor's degree can be substituted with 4 years of related experience
• 2-4 years related experience demonstrating project management capabilities and experience with project management software.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing as well as read and understand drawings
• Exhibits good organizational skills with keen attention to detail and an ability to multi-task.
