Position : Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Azure terraform)

Location : Princeton, NJ  – F2F interview

Duration : Long Term  Contract

 

Job Description:

  • Lead end to end infrastructure and cloud migration programs| including DC exit| lift and shift| and phased modernization to Azure.
  • Own program governance covering scope| timelines| cost| risks| dependencies| and stakeholder communication across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate migration of applications| databases| and middleware from Onprem environments to Azure (VMs| Azure SQL| AKS| storage| networking).
  • Drive collaboration across cloud| security| network| application| DB| and DevOps teams to ensure seamless migration and cutover.
  • Oversee DR strategy| resiliency testing| security controls| and compliance as part of migration programs.
  • Ensure adherence to DevOps CICD practices| automation| and Azure governance standards during execution.
  • Manage vendors and partners| track milestones| and provide executive level reporting and risk mitigation plans.

Required Skills

  • Experience10 years of IT experience with 5 years in Program Large Scale Project Management.
  • Proven experience leading Data Center Exit and Lift and Shift migrations from Onprem to Azure.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of Azure infrastructure (VMs| Networking| Storage| Identity| Security| AKS).
