MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in a human service related field with at least three (3) year supervisory
experience. Must have demonstrated supervisory, administrative, problem solving and
consultation skills including a minimum of five (5) years' of demonstrated work experience with
children in mental health or related social service field. Requires the willingness and ability to
work irregular hours as needed to ensure quality standards are met in service delivery. Must
hold a current behavioral health board approved license (LPC, LCSW, LBP, LMFT, LADC).
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:
As the Associate Director, Crisis Services this individual bears responsibility for a wide
array of programming related to the YES Tulsa Location as well as the CALM Center. These
programs are engaged in the assessment and treatment of youth and families in crisis.
Employing the guiding principles of the Sanctuary Model, the Associate Director meticulously
monitors the performance of these specialty services and case management, ensuring that all
practices and operations align with the stringent requirements mandated by regulatory and
licensing agencies.
In addition to monitoring, the Associate Director is tasked with the implementation and periodic
review of clinical protocols, performance objectives, productivity benchmarks, and compliance
measures. They coordinate provider workflow planning and scheduling in collaboration with
other programs and departments as necessary. Serving as a coach, mentor, and supervisor to
staff providers, the Associate Director serves as a valuable resource for the entire agency,
offering guidance on best practices and adeptly addressing any therapy service or operational
issues with an acute focus on urgency and adherence to agency policy.
Furthermore, the Associate Director is charged with identifying and collaborating on the
execution action plans to enhance service delivery and ensure compliance measures are met.
They facilitate appropriate collaboration to ensure adherence to established clinical pathways
and foster seamless interdepartmental coordination.

/ Adolescent Behavioral Health Services and needs.
• Knowledge of inpatient and residential services for children and adolescents.
• Knowledge of clinical assessments, treatment triage, and coordination policy and
procedures.
• Knowledge of different types of child / adolescent treatment modalities and services.
• Demonstrate strong and effective supervision skills and strategies for dealing with a
wide range of employee issues and concerns.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for collaboration with Director and facilitating the daily operation,
development, maintenance, and supervision of CRS's The CALM Center and YES
Tulsa. B, D, E, F, G
2. Co-lead/conduct regular team meetings/huddles with all outpatient children's staff.
Meeting content must be documented on agenda and through meeting minutes. B, D, E,

3. Will be available on-call (often at irregular hours) for staff supervised A, B, C, F, G
4. Responsible for meeting established responsivity guidelines as it relates to assessment,
treatment, and referral. D, E, F, G
5. Provide backup for Calm Center and YES supervisor coverage in the absence of the

6. Co-facilitate or conduct regular individual/group clinical supervisions. Document

7. Coordinate with Director on possible learning plans, and disciplinary actions on
supervisee needing assistance and who are deficient in their fiscal responsibilities or

8. Assisting Director in ensuring all CALM and YES-Tulsa staff are appropriately trained in
CRS and departmental policies & procedures and staff's training is up-to-date. D, F, G
9. Collaborating with Director in preparation and submission of time-sensitive/end-of-year
reports as required by CRS, CARF, DHS, and ODMHSAS. A, D, E, F, G

10. Collaborating with Director to ensure filling all vacant positions with qualified staff in a
timely manner and ensuring coverage of clinical needs during any interim periods of

11. Assist in the completion of performance evaluations within a goal of 15 days of due date.

12. Responsible (in collaboration with HR) for ensuring that supervisee are appropriately
trained on CRS policies & procedures and that staff's training (Relias, CPR/first aid,
TheraOps, Sanctuary, etc.) is up-to-date. D, F, G
13. Assist in preparing and submitting (written and/or verbal) accurate and timely
CALM/YES-Tulsa monthly and quarterly reports for the agency and monitoring progress
with agency six-month performance indicators. A, D, F
14. Providing training, consultation, and education before outside groups and organizations
explaining the program's purpose and functions. Attend various community professional

15. Assist in the identification, development and implementation of children's evidence base

16. Assist in reviewing, approving, and signing flex forms ensuring compliance with CRS
policy and procedures. D
17. Will report all FMLA time taken by staff to CRS agency Controller by the 10th of each

18. Follow-up with clients and/or parent/guardians regarding any program or staff concerns,
complaints, suggestions, etc. C, F, G
19. Operate in compliance with ethical and legal standards of mental health practice and

23. Develop and maintain a referral base for clients in need of a higher level of care (e.g.
residential, detox, etc.) or other community resources (food bank, domestic violence,
etc.).Expedite functional and efficient linkage procedures for referrals from and to service
providers, including those serving individuals with co-occurring disorders. B, C, F

25. Participate in professional development workshops or training to maintain continuing
education training hours to ensure annual licensing and/or certification requirements and

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to move from location to location easily,
bending, stooping, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present
information to other employees, process complex information within established
procedures/programs, enter data to various programs. Must be able to climb stairs and
access non-handicapped equipped residences/facilities, may be exposed to diseases,
illness, or infection, ability to use basic office equipment such as: telephone, calculator,
computer, etc.
SAFETY-SENSITIVE: Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma has designated this
position as "safety-sensitive." Employees who work in positions classified as "safety-sensitive"
can be disciplined if they test positive for marijuana or its metabolites. Possession or use of
medical marijuana while at work or during the hours of employment regardless of whether the
employee has a valid Oklahoma medical marijuana license, is still strictly prohibited.
REPORTS TO: Crisis Services Director
EMPLOYMENT STATUS & HOURS: Exempt. Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Evening and/or
weekend work will be required as needed to meet social responsibility commitments and
associated agency objectives in providing services to clients.
