A day in the life:

Your ability to design scalable and secure cloud architectures and hands-on experience in implementation and deployment will be crucial. For this particular role, we're looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a mission critical team assessing internal and external threats to our Customer’s enterprise networks. Collectively, this team identifies and assesses threats, orchestrates responses, builds tools, and develops threat intelligence through cross-functional collaboration.
As the Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will primarily:

Create, administer and deploy AWS resources and infrastructure.

Key technologies include ArgoCD, K9s, Kubectl, Helm charts, Docker, GitLab, YAML Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and cloud-custodian

Create, administer and deploy AWS resources within the customer’s C2E environment.

Key technologies include EC2, S3, RDS, Security Groups, IAM, EBS, Terraform and Ansible

Manage TLS certificates via ACME with the customer service provider using cert-manager and ACME

Provide minimal end-user technical support to various customer teams.
What you bring to the table:
All of our cloud engineers need the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
For this particular role, you will also need:
- Six (6) years of relevant experience in devops, systems administration, and/or software engineering.
- Four (4) years of experience working with systems utilizing cloud-related technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working with Linux, AWS/C2E, and Git
- Familiarity with Kubernetes terminology and basic workings
- One or more of the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator
