Position: ACCELQ Test Automation Engineer (No-Code / Low-Code)

Location: Richmond or McLean, VA / Plano, TX

Duration: Long term contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ACCELQ Test Automation Engineer with strong No-Code / Low-Code automation expertise to support enterprise-scale applications. The role requires hands-on experience in automating web and API testing using ACCELQ and working closely with development and DevOps teams in an onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using ACCELQ (No-Code / Low-Code)
  • Automate UI, API, and end-to-end functional test scenarios
  • Create and manage reusable business logic and shared assets in ACCELQ
  • Integrate ACCELQ automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
  • Execute automated regression, smoke, and sanity testing
  • Review automation results, troubleshoot failures, and log defects
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams onsite
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and release validation activities
  • Ensure automation best practices, coverage, and reporting standards

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on ACCELQ automation experience
  • Strong knowledge of No-Code / Low-Code test automation frameworks
  • Experience with Web application testing
  • Experience with API testing (REST services)
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have:

  • Basic knowledge of Java or JavaScript
  • Experience working in banking/financial or enterprise environments
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • ACCELQ certification

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
