A place where tech thinkers and future builders turn bold ideas into breakthrough experiences, we welcome your unique perspective.Help us challenge assumptions, uncover bias, and remove barriers—because progress starts with fresh ideas. You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.

Job Summary

Equinix's Digital Innovation Office is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Marketing to support key Marketing Technology transformation initiatives, including the Lead-to-Cash (LTC) org cutover, consent and privacy architecture (Salesforce Privacy Center, AEM, GDPR consent withdrawal), Data Cloud, MCAE-to-Marketing Cloud Advanced migration, and broader CRM modernization.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to drive complex, regulated initiatives from design through implementation and support. You will operate as a senior individual contributor — architecting solutions and building them.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support Salesforce and marketing technology initiatives across the Lead to Cash cutover and BAU roadmap

  • Design, develop, and support solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud (MCAE / MCA), and Data Cloud

  • Lead the MCAE (Pardot)-to-Marketing Cloud Advanced migration, including automation flows, campaign automations, and form handlers

  • Build and support integrations between Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Qualtrics, 6sense, Openprise, AEM, and other enterprise systems

  • Support customer data unification, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation in Data Cloud

  • Drive legacy Salesforce migration (BAU-to-LTC) and platform consolidation initiatives

  • Troubleshoot complex integration, sync, data-quality, and deployment-pipeline issues across environments

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Legal/Privacy, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years focused on Salesforce and Marketing Technology platforms

  • Expert-level hands-on experience with B2B Marketing Automation — Pardot / MCAE and/or Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder)

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud: Data Streams, Identity Resolution, Unified Profiles, Calculated Insights, Segmentation, Data Actions, and Activation

  • Proven experience designing and deploying Agentforce agents and prompt templates for customer-facing or internal use cases

  • Strong Salesforce development skills: Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch/Scheduled, REST/SOAP callouts), Lightning Web Components, and Flows

  • Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs and an iPaaS or data-orchestration platform

  • Ability to work autonomously, drive ambiguous initiatives to completion, and communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Required Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist (Pardot)

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud Next / Marketing Cloud Advanced (or a strong MCAE background with demonstrated ability to ramp quickly)

  • Experience implementing enterprise consent and privacy architecture — Salesforce Privacy Center, contact-point consent models, GDPR consent withdrawal, or equivalent CDP/CMP solutions

  • Experience leading or contributing to a major Salesforce org migration or platform consolidation program

  • Familiarity with 6sense, Openprise, or Qualtrics integrations in a B2B marketing context

  • Familiarity with CI/CD for Salesforce: SFDX, Git-based deployment pipelines, and automated testing frameworks

  • CRM Analytics or Tableau experience for marketing performance reporting

Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant
