Job description

Lead Salesforce Developer

Location: Morristown, NJ (4 days onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (Contract to hire)

Core Skills: Need Salesforce and financial industry experience.

The Salesforce Dev Lead role will utilize strong architect-level expertise allowing them to design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions and provide technical leadership to the team. This individual will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions, while guiding developers and ensuring best practices across the team. This role will also be responsible for driving solution design, mentoring team members, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver robust, compliant, and high-performing Salesforce implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture and hands-on development across Financial Services Cloud, OmniStudio, Data Cloud, and Agentforce
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and lead full SDLC delivery (design, build, test, deploy)
  • Architect and implement Agentforce solutions, including AI-driven workflows, automation, and conversational interactions
  • Define and govern integration architecture (APIs, eventing) and data models with strong security and compliance standards
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code quality, reviews, and reusable design patterns
  • Lead DevOps strategy (CI/CD, environment management) and troubleshoot complex, cross-environment production issues
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship while driving AI innovation and identifying high-impact Agentforce use cases

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (ksa):

  • Enterprise solution design Design and build scalable solutions across FSC, OmniStudio, Data Cloud
  • Hands-on development Apex, LWC, APIs, OmniStudio, Data Cloud
  • AI / Agentforce Define use cases and implement AI solutions in Salesforce
  • Integrations & data modeling APIs, eventing, governed data design
  • DevOps / CI-CD Source control, automated deployments, env mgmt
  • Technical leadership Code reviews, standards enforcement, team guidance
  • Security / compliance Apply banking-grade controls and secure design

Experience & Education:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce dev leadership, including hands-on development and solution design within Financial Industry

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field.

Required:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II

Preferred:

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
